Pirate Arms AK74 Midcap

Das Pirate Arms AK47 Midcap verfügt über eine hohe Kapazität für BBs. Das Magazin muss nicht mittels einem Mechanismus aufgezogen werden. Midcaps haben je nach Modell eine Kapazität von 90 bis 160 Schuss. Der Übergang von Lowcap zu Midcap ist fließend, da beide Magazinarten auf dem gleichen Funktionsbetrieb beruhen. Midcaps werden am effektivsten und einfachsten mit einem Speedloader befüllt. Es ist sehr wichtig, dass nicht mehr BBs nachgeladen werden, als im Magazin Platz haben. Wenn also ein Widerstand spürbar ist, dürfen auf keinen Fall weitere BBs hineingedrückt werden, da ansonsten die Feder deformieren kann oder der Follower möglicherweise aus der Führung springt. Gegenüber Hicaps haben Midcaps den sehr großen Vorteil, dass sie nicht rascheln und ein Magazinwechsel schneller durchgeführt ist. Andererseits ist die Kapazität deutlich geringer.
